Scallion Fried Rice
A simple and flavorful American-style fried rice dish loaded with scallions.
Ingredients
- β1 bunch scallionschopped
- β2 cups ricecooked
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor frying
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tablespoon soy saucefor seasoning
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the chopped scallions and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Push the scallion mixture to one side of the pan.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the other side of the pan.

Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until combined with the scallion mixture.

Add the soy sauce and stir-fry for another minute.

Transfer the scallion fried rice to a serving platter and serve immediately.

Optional: garnish with additional chopped scallions and serve with your favorite American-style side dishes.
