Japanese Crispy Air-Fried Casabe Fritters
Crispy, air-fried Japanese fritters made with casabe flour, perfect as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- β2 cups casabe flour
- β1 cup water
- β2 tbsp stir-fry sauce
- β1 tsp japanese soy sauce
- β1 tsp sugar

1. In a large bowl, combine casabe flour and water. Mix until a dough forms.

2. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.

3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.

4. Shape each piece into a ball and then flatten slightly into a disk.

5. Heat 1-2 inches of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

6. When the oil is hot, add 2-3 fritters to the pan and fry until crispy and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

7. Remove the fritters from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

8. In a small bowl, mix together stir-fry sauce, soy sauce, and sugar.
