Irish Pasta Bake
A hearty, comforting casserole made with Irish sausage and pasta.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Irish sausage sliced
- β8 ounces Pastapenne or similar shape
- β1 tablespoon Herbsdried thyme and rosemary
- β1/2 cup Fried onionchopped
- β Salt and pepper
- β1 cup Grated cheddar cheese
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose flour

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the Irish sausage over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the fried onion to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Stir in the herbs and cook for 1 minute.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sausage mixture, and grated cheese.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with flour.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
