Lamb Tibs with Alichia
A traditional Ethiopian dish made with sautéed lamb and alichia, served with a side of steamed vegetables.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound lamb shouldercut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 cup alichiachopped
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●2 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 tablespoon gingergrated
- ●2 tablespoons olive oilfor cooking
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the lamb from the skillet and set aside.

Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped alichia to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes.

Return the lamb to the skillet and stir to combine with the alichia mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
