Turkish Kofte Lettuce Wraps
A refreshing and flavorful Turkish-inspired dish featuring kofte patties wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.
Ingredients

- β1 medium Onion
- β2 slices Cig (Turkish bread)crushed
- β4 leaves Lettuce
- β1 head Iceberg lettucechopped
- β1 tablespoon Kofte spice mix
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1/4 cup Turkish yogurt
- β2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, crushed cig, kofte spice mix, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape into patties.

Grill the kofte patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, toast the lettuce leaves by grilling them for 30 seconds on each side.

Assemble the wraps by placing a kofte patty onto a toasted lettuce leaf, followed by a dollop of Turkish yogurt and a sprinkle of parsley.
