Almond and Date French Delight
A classic French dessert with the sweetness of dates and crunch of almonds. Perfect for a sweet treat after dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 cup sliced Almonds
- β6 pitted Dates
- β1/2 cup confectioners' sugar DelightAssuming Delight is confectioners' sugar
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- β1 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- β1 large Egg
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- β1/4 cup Confectioners' Sugar

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a food processor, grind the almonds until coarsely chopped.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, confectioners' sugar, and egg.

Add the ground almonds, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Cut out desired shapes using a cookie cutter.

Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack.
