Slovakian Beef and Dumplings Stew
A hearty and comforting Slovakian-inspired stew made with tender beef and pillowy dumplings, perfect for a cold winter's day.

- β4-6 dumplings Slovakian Dumplingshomemade or store-bought
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β1 teaspoon Caraway Seedstoasted
- βto taste Salt

Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the caraway seeds and cook for 1 minute.

Add 2 cups of beef broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
