Brazilian Beef Roast
A deliciously aromatic beef roast, inspired by Brazilian flavors, perfect for a Sunday dinner.
Ingredients
- ●1.5 kg Beef roastChurrasco-style cut
- ●2 tbsp Aromatic amazingly roast spice blendHomemade or store-bought
- ●1 tsp Brazilian coffeeAdds depth to the sauce
- ●3 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●2 tbsp Olive oilFor browning the beef
- ●1 tsp SaltTo taste
- ●1 tsp Black pepperTo taste
- ●2 medium OnionsSliced
- ●2 cups TomatoesCanned, crushed
- ●2 medium Green pepperSliced

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Season the beef roast with salt, black pepper, and aromatic amazingly roast spice blend.

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the beef roast on all sides until browned, about 2 minutes per side.

Remove the beef from the pot and set it aside. Reduce heat to medium and cook the sliced onions until they start to caramelize, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Add the sliced green pepper and cook until it starts to soften, about 2 minutes.

Add the crushed tomatoes, Brazilian coffee, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.

Return the beef roast to the pot, cover it with a lid, and transfer it to the preheated oven.

Braise the beef for 2.5 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F) for medium-rare.

Remove the pot from the oven and let the beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
