Chicken and Northern Thai Spice Stir Fry
A flavorful and aromatic dish that combines the bold flavors of Northern Thailand with the simplicity of a stir fry.
Ingredients
- β1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast chicken
- β2 tablespoons northern thai spice
- β8 ounces mushrooms
- β1 cup sliced mun (bamboo shoots)
- β1 cup cooked kao (sticky rice)
- β2 cloves garlic, minced aromatic
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oil oils
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β2 tablespoons fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the mushrooms and bamboo shoots to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the Northern Thai spice, fish sauce, and sugar to the skillet and stir to combine.
