Brazilian Rose Cake
A moist and fragrant cake infused with the flavors of Brazil and the beauty of rose petals.

- β1 cup granulated sugar
- β1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- β2 large eggs
- β1/2 cup rose petal jam
- β2 tbsp aromatic rose syrup
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1 cup confectioners' sugar
- βfor garnish fresh rose petals

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C) and grease two 8-inch round cake pans.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and confectioners' sugar.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together softened butter, eggs, rose petal jam, aromatic rose syrup, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth the tops.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
