Canadian Lentil Stew

Ingredients
- β1 pound Canadian beef stew meatcut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 cup red lentilsrinsed and drained
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 medium carrotpeeled and chopped
- β2 stalks celerychopped
- β2 teaspoons aromatic spice blendor to taste
- β2 tablespoons tomato pasteor 1 can diced tomatoes
- β4 cups beef brothlow sodium
- β2 cups wateror more as needed
- β1 teaspoon saltor to taste
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepperor to taste

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
