Jamaican Sausage Gratin
A flavorful twist on a classic gratin, featuring the spicy kick of Jamaican sausage.

- ●2 medium aromatic onionchopped
- ●4 large gratin potatoesthinly sliced
- ●1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- ●1 cup heavy cream

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high, browning on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, cooked onion, and browned sausage.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour the cream mixture over the potato mixture and toss to coat.
