Smoked Pork with Creamy Bisque

- ●1 (2 pounds) Smoked Pork ShoulderLook for a smoked pork shoulder with a good bark
- ●2 tablespoons Butter
- ●1 medium OnionChopped
- ●3 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- ●2 cups Chicken broth
- ●1 cup Heavy cream
- ●1/2 cup Grated Avelvety CheeseOptional, for added richness

2. Place the smoked pork shoulder on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

3. While the pork is cooking, melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

5. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

6. Sprinkle the flour over the onion mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
