Argentinian Chocolate Crumble
A rich and decadent dessert featuring Argentinian chocolate and a crunchy crumble topping
Ingredients
- β250g Argentinian dark chocolate
- β150g caster sugarfor the crumble topping
- β100g all-purpose flourfor the crumble topping
- β100g unsalted butterfor the crumble topping
- β50g ground almondsfor the crumble topping
- β1 small bitter melonoptional, for a sweet and tangy twist

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and ground almonds for the crumble topping.

Add the unsalted butter to the dry ingredients and rub until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of a 20cm square baking dish.

Pour the melted chocolate over the crumble base.

Top with the remaining crumble mixture.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and the chocolate is set.

Allow the dessert to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
