Japanese-Style Pork Stir Fry
A quick and easy stir fry recipe using pork and Japanese-inspired flavors. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 Pork loin (1 pound)
- β1 Bitter gourd (1 medium)
- β1/4 cup Crisp-fried shallots (1/4 cup)
- β1 Peruvian aji amarillo pepper (1 small)Optional
- β2 tablespoons Cooking oil (2 tablespoons)
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
- β1 teaspoon Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
- β Salt and pepper (to taste)

1. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the pork loin to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.

3. Transfer the pork loin to a plate and set aside.

4. Add the bitter gourd to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly tender.

5. Add the crisp-fried shallots and Peruvian aji amarillo pepper (if using) to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
