Kenyan Bitter Date Crumble
A traditional Kenyan dessert featuring bitter dates and a crumbly topping.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup All-purpose Flour
- ●1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- ●1/2 cup Cold Unsalted Butter
- ●1/2 cup Kenyan Crumble

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel the bitter dates and cut them into halves.

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and cold butter. Use a pastry blender or your fingertips to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Add the Kenyan crumble to the flour mixture and stir until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the bitter dates.
