Pan-Seared Beet Pierogi with Fried Onions
A traditional Ukrainian dish with a twist, featuring crispy fried onions and a sweet beet filling.
Ingredients

- β2 medium Beetspeeled and grated
- β1 large Onionsthinly sliced
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes.

Add grated beets to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until tender.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pierogi according to the package instructions.

Drain the pierogi and add them to the skillet with the beets and onions.
