Tunisian Tomato Pasta
Quick and flavorful pasta dish with Tunisian flavors.
Ingredients
- β8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
- β2 cups blanched tomatoes
- β1 cup tunisian tomatoes
- β2 tbsp stir-fry sauce (or substitute with olive oil and herbs)
- β3 cloves garlic
- β1 tsp dried basil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.

While the pasta cooks, heat the stir-fry sauce (or olive oil and herbs) in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the blanched tomatoes and Tunisian tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the dried basil.

When the pasta is done cooking, drain and return it to the pot.

Add the tomato mixture to the pasta and toss to combine.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
