Japanese-Style Masarepa Fritters
A tasty fusion of Japanese flavors with the crunchy texture of fritters. These delicious bites are great as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 cup masarepa
- β1 cup arabian
- β1/2 cup fritters
- β2 tablespoons briny
- β1 teaspoon saudi
- β1/4 cup water
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup green onions
- β1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- βto taste salt
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine masarepa, arabian, fritters, briny, saudi, and water.

Mix well until a dough forms.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough into oil, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet.

Cook fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Remove fritters from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and salt to taste.

Note: If desired, you can also shape fritters into desired shapes before frying.
