Pan-Seared Sous Vide Steak with Butter Sweet Reduction
A rich and tender steak cooked to perfection with a caramelized butter sweet reduction.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs Ribeye Steak
- β1/4 cup Butter Sweet
- β Sous Vide Machine
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions

Season the steak with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side, or until a nice crust forms.

Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and add the butter sweet to the pan.

Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Continue to cook the butter sweet for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until it has thickened and turned a deep amber color.

Return the steak to the pan and spoon some of the butter sweet reduction over the top.
