Creamy Indian Chickpea Curry
A rich and flavorful Indian-inspired curry made with chickpeas, a blend of spices, and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 can (14.5 oz) chickpeasdrained and rinsed
- β2 tbsp currysuch as Madras or Vindaloo
- β2 tbsp butterysuch as unsalted butter
- β1 cup creamysuch as heavy cream or coconut cream
- β1 tsp garam masalasuch as ground spices
- β1 tsp cumin powdersuch as ground spices
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Heat the buttery in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the curry and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the chickpeas, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the chickpeas are coated in the spice blend.

Add the creamy and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and let the curry simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
