Malaysian Roast Duck
A classic Southeast Asian dish featuring a crispy-skinned roast duck served with a side of savory Malaysian flavors.

- ●2 tablespoons Malaysianspice blend (e.g. 2 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 tsp five-spice powder)

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Rinse the duck and pat dry with paper towels.

Season the duck with salt and pepper.

Heat the melted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the duck until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.

Transfer the duck to a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

While the duck is roasting, mix the Malaysian spice blend ingredients together in a small bowl.
