Hue-Style Chicken Bun
A traditional Vietnamese dish featuring tender chicken and soft bun, inspired by the flavors of Hue. This recipe is a delicious and satisfying meal option.
Ingredients
- β500g chickenBoneless and skinless breast or thigh meat
- β4 bunSoft, white bun rolls
- β2 boPork or chicken stock
- β2 tbsp butterySoftened for braising
- β2 tbsp tenderSoy sauce for marinating

1. In a large bowl, whisk together tender, bo, and a pinch of salt. Add the chicken and mix to coat.

2. Heat 1 tbsp of buttery in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

3. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

4. Add the remaining 1 tbsp of buttery to the pan and stir in 2 cups of water.

5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
