Vietnamese Pho
A classic Vietnamese noodle soup made with beef broth, beef slices, and rice noodles. This recipe is a simplified version of the traditional dish.
Ingredients
- β1 package (200g) Vietnamese rice noodles
- β4 cups beef broth
- β1 pound beef slices (rare steak)
- β2 tablespoons pho spices
- β2 tablespoons fish sauce
- β4 lime wedges
- β1/2 cup toasted onions

1. In a large pot, combine beef broth, pho spices, and fish sauce. Bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

4. Slice rare steak into thin strips.

5. Add beef slices to the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until cooked to desired doneness.
