Crunchy Caramel Bites
A sweet and crunchy dessert made with caramel, crunch, and a hint of baking.
Ingredients

- ●1/2 cup crunch
- ●1/4 cup bakeunsalted butter (softened)
- ●1/2 cup sugar
- ●2 tablespoons heavy cream
- ●pinch sea salt
- ●2 eggs
- ●1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ●1/4 cup powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium saucepan, combine the caramel, sugar, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 290°F (145°C).

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the softened butter until melted.

Add the pinch of sea salt and stir to combine.

Let the mixture cool slightly, until it reaches 275°F (135°C).

Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Stir in the powdered sugar until well combined.

Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth the top.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the crunch on top of the caramel layer.

Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the crunch is lightly toasted.
