Stir-Fried Malaysian Lamb
A flavorful and aromatic Malaysian-inspired stir-fry dish made with lamb, vegetables, and caramelized onions.
Ingredients
- β500g Lamb (sirloin or ribeye)Cut into bite-sized pieces
- β1 large OnionCaramelized
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 inches GingerSliced
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oilFor stir-frying
- β1 tsp Chili flakesOptional, for some heat
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the lamb from the wok and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the wok.

Add the sliced ginger and minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the caramelized onion and stir-fry for another minute.

Return the lamb to the wok and stir-fry until the meat is cooked through.

Add chili flakes, if using, and stir-fry for another minute.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
