Pork and Caramelized Wrap
A delicious Portuguese-inspired wrap filled with pork and caramelized onions.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulder
- β1 Large onionCaramelized
- β1 Portuguese roll
- β2 slices Cheddar cheese
- β1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
- β Salt and pepper
- β1 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork shoulder until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the pork to a baking sheet and roast in the oven until cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.

While the pork is cooking, caramelize the onion in the skillet by cooking it over low heat for about 20-25 minutes.

Warm the Portuguese roll in the oven for a few minutes.

Slice the cooked pork and assemble the wrap by placing it on the roll, followed by caramelized onion, cheese, and cilantro.
