Smoky Pork Tacos
A delicious and flavorful Mexican-inspired dish featuring smoky pork, perfect for tacos.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound pork shouldercut into large chunks
- ●2 tablespoons chili powderor more to taste
- ●1 tablespoon cuminor more to taste
- ●1 teaspoon smoked paprikaoptional
- ●1 teaspoon garlic powderor more to taste

- ●2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo saucedepending on desired level of heat

- ●8-10 tortillascorn or flour
- ●1 cup shredded cheeseoptional
- ●1 cup sour creamoptional
- ●1/4 cup cilantrochopped

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

Season the pork chunks with chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.

In a large Dutch oven, heat a couple tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork chunks until browned on all sides, then transfer to the oven.

Braise the pork for 2-3 hours, or until tender.

Meanwhile, chop the onion and sauté it in a pan until softened.

Add the chipotle peppers to the pan and cook for a few minutes.

Shred the pork with two forks and stir in the onion and chipotle mixture.
