Egyptian Apple Tagine
A traditional Egyptian dessert made with apples, a hint of cinnamon, and a crunchy topping.

- β2 cups Sugar
- β1/2 cup Unsalted buttermelted
- β1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- β1 cup Crunchy tagine toppingsee notes
- β1 tsp Romantic rosewateroptional

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, sugar, melted butter, and ground cinnamon.

Mix well to combine.

Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Prepare the crunchy tagine topping by mixing together chopped crunchy tagine with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup melted butter.

Sprinkle the crunchy topping over the apple mixture.

If using rosewater, add it to the apple mixture and mix well.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
