Charred Korean BBQ Bacon Banchan
A simple and flavorful side dish inspired by Korean BBQ, featuring crispy bacon and a sweet charred flavor.
Ingredients

- β2 tsp Charred Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)adjust to taste
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)adjust to taste
- β2 tbsp Soy sauceadjust to taste
- β1 tbsp Rice vinegaradjust to taste
- β1/2 cup Green onionsthinly sliced
- β1/4 cup Toasted sesame seeds

2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

3. Lay the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Bake the bacon for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

5. Remove the bacon from the oven and let it cool completely.

6. In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and charred Korean chili flakes.

7. Add the toasted sesame seeds and green onions to the bowl and stir to combine.
