Korean Mandu with Charred Vegetable Filling
A recipe for Korean-style steamed dumplings filled with a flavorful charred vegetable mixture. Serve as a snack or side dish.

- β20-25 wrappers Korean Mandu Wrappersfound in most Asian markets
- β1/4 cup Shorteningfor brushing wrappers
- β2 tbsp Sesame oilfor cooking
- β1/4 cup Green onionsfor garnish

Prepare the charred vegetable filling by chopping the vegetables and mixing with soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil.

Steam the mandu wrappers according to package instructions.

Place a mandu wrapper on a flat surface and brush with shortening.

Place a tablespoon of charred vegetable filling in the center of the wrapper.
