Pandan Pilaf with Croatian Sausage
A flavorful and comforting dish from Eastern Europe, featuring Croatian sausage and fragrant pandan pilaf.
Ingredients
- β1 pound, sliced Croatian sausage
- β2-3 leaves, chopped Pandan leaves
- β1 cup Brown rice
- β2 cups Chicken broth
- β1 medium, chopped Onion
- β2 cloves, minced Garlic
- βto taste Salt

Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the chopped pandan leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the brown rice and chicken broth to the skillet, and stir to combine.
