Cheesy Polish Pierogi Bake
A delicious and comforting casserole made with pierogi, cheese, and a crispy bake topping.
Ingredients
- ●12-16 pieces pierogihomemade or store-bought
- ●1 cup shredded cheddar cheesedivided
- ●1/2 cup milkfor cheese sauce
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●2 tablespoons butterfor casserole topping
- ●1/4 cup crushed crackersfor casserole topping
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, sauté chopped onion until softened.

Add 1/2 cup milk to skillet and stir to combine.

Add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar to skillet and stir until melted and smooth.

Add cooked pierogi to skillet and stir to combine with cheese sauce.

In a separate bowl, mix together remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar and crushed crackers.

Pour pierogi mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Top with cracker mixture and dot with butter.
