Citrus Zaatar Naan
A flavorful Indian flatbread infused with citrus zest and zaatar, perfect for a quick snack or side dish.
Ingredients

- β1 tsp lemon zestfrom 1 lemon
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1 tsp yeast
- β1/4 tsp salt
- β1/2 cup water
- β1 tsp olive oil
- β1/4 cup cottage cheeseoptional

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt.

Gradually add water and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

Preheat a non-stick skillet or tava over medium heat.

Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions and roll out into thin circles.

Brush the naan with olive oil and sprinkle with zaatar and lemon zest.
