Canton-Style Pancit with Citrusy Pork Stir-Fry
A twist on traditional Filipino pancit, this dish combines stir-fried pork with a tangy and sweet canton sauce, served on a bed of crunchy noodles.
Ingredients
- β1 pound pork shoulderCut into 1-inch cubes
- β1/2 cup canton sauceAvailable in most Asian grocery stores
- β1 package pancit noodlesLook for fresh or frozen noodles
- β2 tablespoons citrusy stir-fry sauceMade with citrus juice, vinegar, and spices
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilFor stir-frying
- β1 bunch green onionsChopped for garnish
- β2 cloves garlicMinced for stir-frying

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the pork and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the citrusy stir-fry sauce and stir-fry for another minute.

Return the pork to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
