Citrusy Fish Bites
A simple and delicious Japanese-inspired dish featuring crispy fish bites with a tangy citrus flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Fish Fillets
- β1/4 cup Citrusy Marinade (see notes)
- β1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- β1 Egg
- β1/2 cup Flour
- β2 tablespoons Citrus Zest
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

1. Cut fish fillets into small bite-sized pieces.

2. In a shallow dish, mix together citrus marinade ingredients.

3. Add fish pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat.

4. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

5. In a separate dish, mix together panko breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt.

6. In a third dish, beat the egg.

7. Dip each fish piece into the flour, then the egg, and finally the panko breadcrumbs.

8. Heat a non-stick pan with about 1/2 inch of oil over medium-high heat.

9. When the oil is hot, add a few fish pieces to the pan and cook until golden brown.

10. Flip the fish over and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
