Citrus Crumble Bread
A refreshing twist on traditional bread, this citrus crumble bread combines the flavors of citrus zest and rye bread with a crunchy crumble topping.
Ingredients
- β1 loaf, cubed rye bread
- β2 tbsp orange zest
- β1 tbsp grated lemon peel
- β1/2 cup sugar
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup cold buttercut into small pieces
- β1 cup citrusy crumble toppingsee below
- β1 eggsbeaten

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together orange zest, lemon peel, and sugar.

Add cubed rye bread and toss until bread is evenly coated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and cold butter until crumbly.

Add citrusy crumble topping to the bread mixture and toss until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and beaten eggs.

Pour egg mixture over the bread mixture and toss until bread is evenly coated.
