Pan-Seared Haddock with Ethiopian Spice
A flavorful and spicy pan-seared haddock dish, inspired by the bold flavors of Ethiopian cuisine.
Ingredients
- β4 Haddock fillets (4)
- β2 tbsp Ethiopian Spice Blend (2 tbsp)
- β4 tbsp Butter (4 tbsp)
- β3 Garlic (3 cloves)
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions

Season the haddock fillets with salt and pepper.

Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the haddock fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until cooked through.

Remove the haddock from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet and stir in the Ethiopian Spice Blend.

Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Return the haddock fillets to the skillet and spoon some of the spice butter over the top.

Serve the haddock hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
