Spanish Patatas Bravas
A classic Spanish dish, Patatas Bravas is a comforting and flavorful recipe made with crispy potatoes and a spicy tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g Patatas
- β200g peas
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 medium chopped onion
- β2 cloves chopped garlic
- β250g crushed tomatoes
- β1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

2. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.

3. Add the chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute.

4. Add the crushed tomatoes, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Stir to combine.

5. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Meanwhile, peel the patatas and cut them into 2cm cubes.

7. Heat a separate pan with a little olive oil and fry the patatas until crispy.

8. Add the fried patatas to the tomato sauce and stir to combine.
