Norwegian Date Hash
A comforting and sweet hash dish made with roasted dates and a hint of Norwegian inspiration.
Ingredients

- β1 large Hash Brown Potatoesgrated
- β1/2 cup Norwegian Brown Cheesecrumbly
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β1 tablespoon Fresh Thymechopped

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, brown cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with thyme.

Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the potatoes are roasting, prepare the dates by slicing them into thin rounds.

After the potatoes have roasted for 20 minutes, add the date slices on top.

Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the dates are caramelized.
