German Potato Casserole
A hearty German-inspired potato casserole with a crispy top and creamy interior. Perfect for a cold winter's night.
Ingredients
- β2 large, peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
- β1 cup compact Irish cheddar cheese, shredded
- β2 tablespoons irish butter, softened
- β1/2 cup compact milk
- β2 tablespoons irish cream, optionaloptional
- β2 tablespoons compact all-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon casserole seasoning

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Butter a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

In a large bowl, combine sliced potatoes and compact milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a separate bowl, mix together compact Irish cheddar cheese, softened irish butter, and casserole seasoning.

Arrange a layer of potatoes in the prepared casserole dish. Top with cheese mixture, then repeat the layers.

Sprinkle compact flour over the top layer of potatoes.

Dot the top of the casserole with butter and sprinkle with compact cheddar cheese.
