Turkish-Style Mini Meat Pies (Lahmacun)
A twist on the classic Turkish dish, these mini meat pies are filled with a flavorful mixture of minced meat and spices, served with a side of crumbled cheese.

- β250g cosy ground beef
- β1 package lahmacun dough
- β100g mincemeatchopped
- β1 tsp turkish spicesmix of paprika, cumin, and oregano
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper

Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

Roll out the lahmacun dough to a thickness of 3mm.

Cut out 12 equal-sized squares from the dough.

In a pan, cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.

Add the ground beef, mincemeat, turkish spices, salt, and black pepper to the pan.

Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned.

Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto one half of each dough square.

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges to seal.

Brush the tops with a little water and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm, garnished with crumbled cheese if desired.
