Cozy Tandoori Chicken
A delicious and comforting tandoori chicken recipe served with a side of sweet candi glaze.
Ingredients
- ●4 cozy chicken breastsboneless and skinless
- ●1/4 cup candi syrupadjust to taste
- ●2 tablespoons tandoori spice mixstore-bought or homemade
- ●2 tablespoons lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- ●1 cup greek yogurtplain and full-fat
- ●1 teaspoon garam masalastore-bought or homemade
- ●1 teaspoon saltto taste
- ●1/2 teaspoon black pepperto taste

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together tandoori spice mix, lemon juice, garam masala, salt, and black pepper.

Add the yogurt and whisk until smooth.

Add the chicken to the marinade and mix until coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

While the chicken is baking, heat the candi syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Once the chicken is done, brush the candi syrup over the top of each breast.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the glaze is caramelized.

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
