Empanada de Mincemeat
A traditional Argentinean dessert empanada filled with rich mincemeat, perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- ●2 sheets Empanada dough
- ●1 cup Mincemeat
- ●1 cup Aerated chocolate
- ●1/2 cup Heavy cream
- ●1/4 cup Granulated sugar
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the empanada dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a spoonful of mincemeat in the center of each dough circle.

Top the mincemeat with a spoonful of aerated chocolate.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-moon shape, pressing the edges to seal.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with heavy cream and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake the empanadas for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
