Australian Fish Soup
A hearty and comforting soup originating from Australia, made with fresh fish and a creamy base.
Ingredients
- β2 Fresh Fish Fillets (Cod or Haddock)Approx. 1 pound
- β4 cups Australian Creamy StockHomemade or low-sodium store-bought
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 medium CarrotChopped
- β2 stalks CeleryChopped
- β2 tablespoons Australian Fish SauceOr to taste
- β Salt and Pepper

Bring the stock to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Reduce heat to medium-low and add the chopped onion, minced garlic, carrot, and celery. Simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Add the fish fillets to the pot and cook for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

Remove the fish from the pot and flake it into bite-sized pieces.

Return the fish to the pot and stir in the fish sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
