Bitter Beef Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful stir fry made with beef and vegetables, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (sirloin)Slice into thin strips
- β1 medium Bitter melonSlice into thin rounds
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilFor stir-frying
- β1 tablespoon GingerMinced
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauceFor marinade and stir-frying
- β1/4 cup Creamy sauceOptional, for serving

1. Slice the bitter melon and beef into thin strips.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

4. Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

6. Add the sliced bitter melon to the skillet and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

7. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce marinade.

8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

9. Serve the beef and bitter melon hot, garnished with creamy sauce if desired.
