Algerian Potato Tagine
A hearty and comforting Algerian-inspired stew made with tender potatoes and a rich creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- β2 large Potatoes
- β1 tsp Tagine seasoning
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 medium Onion
- β1 tsp Algerian spice blend
- β2 tbsp Tomato paste
- β2 cups Vegetable broth
- β1/4 cup Heavy cream
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the potatoes, tagine seasoning, and Algerian spice blend. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
