Gluten-Free Lasagna with Croatian Creamy Cheese
A classic Italian dish made gluten-free with the addition of Croatian creamy cheese for a unique twist.
Ingredients
- β8-10 sheets Lasagna noodles (gluten-free)
- β1 cup Croatian creamy cheesedrained of excess liquid
- β1 cup Ricotta cheese
- β1 Egg
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- βchopped Fresh parsleyoptional garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine the Croatian creamy cheese, ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Spread a layer of the cheese mixture on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of the cheese mixture.

Spread half of the remaining cheese mixture over the noodles.

Repeat the layers, starting with the noodles, then the cheese mixture, and finally the remaining noodles.

Top the lasagna with the chopped parsley, if using.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
