Argentinian Creamy Empanadas
Homemade empanadas filled with a rich and creamy beef and onion filling. Perfect for a snack or as a side dish.
Ingredients
- β250g Ground Beef
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β250g All-purpose flour
- β1 Egg
- β125ml Milk
- β50g Butter
- β150g Cream
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.

2. In a large pan, heat the butter over medium heat.

3. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.

4. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

5. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and egg.

6. Add the milk and cream to the bowl and stir until combined.

7. Add the wet ingredients to the beef mixture and stir until combined.

8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

9. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.

10. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto one half of the dough circle.

11. Fold the dough in half and press the edges together.

12. Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
