Roasted Butternut Squash with Creamy Sauce

- β1/2 cup creamy saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons butterunsalted
- β1 tablespoon brown sugaroptional
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.

Place the squash on a baking sheet, cut side up, and drizzle with butter.
